I was born in South Korea, immigrated to Richmond, BC in grade 9, moved to Edmonton in 2018. I speak both Korean and English.
My education/training involves my degree of Bachelor of Science at University of British Columbia (4 years) and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (4 years), where I got vigorous training in how human body, health, and nature work synergistically. I am trained in traditional asian medicine including acupuncture, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, nutrition, counselling, supplements, labs, facial rejuvenation acupuncture, Rubimed therapy, Psychosomatic Energetics, Naturopathic doula, CranioSacral level one. I am a member in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta, Alberta Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
I treat patients with digestive conditions, hormonal imbalances, infertility, sleep disturbance, chronic fatigue, gallbladder removal, inability to lose weight, anxiety, depression, being on multiple medications, kidney diseases, Alzhiemer’s disease, and past emotional trauma. Also children related health concerns.
Whoa, that was a lot of words. Let’s get into the real me.
There are many Naturopathic Doctors available in Edmonton, in Alberta, in Canada, and you are wondering where to go, who to see to address your health concerns and be the best you. I understand this as I am also a patient when I am not working as a Naturopathic Doctor. I think able to make connections with your doctor is critical when it comes to health. You want to be able to talk, be listened to, bounce off ideas, and be respected of your choices.
I am a human being, loves to help others, be there for others, have heart to heart conversation that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy, if you know what I mean.
